Gallivant photo contest!

We've been searching for a stunning photograph of Scotland in the summer, and we were blown away by the quantity and quality of your photos!

The winning photo will be the new leading image of Gallivant, as well as our cover image on Facebook. The winning photographer will also have the opportunity to be interviewed for a feature right here on our Gallivant website.

Thank you so much to everyone who took the time to enter, and remember that every entry still has the chance to be featured in print on The Scots Magazine's #Gallivant page, showcasing your adventures around Scotland every month.

We are delighted to share our 10 finalists with you! You can vote by letting us know your favourite in the comments. If you're not already a member, it's free to sign up and start voting. Good luck!

9. Harry Ho

"When the summer sun finally makes an appearance in Glasgow, everyone collective heads for the green. I spent this beautiful, warm afternoon wandering through Kelvingrove Park, finding this perfect vantage point looking out toward the University of Glasgow.

"Love how the hill was alive with chatter, music, and people just soaking up the rare warmth, yet everyone still found their own quiet pocket of peace in the middle of the city."

10. Janie Thomson

"Always worth a quick #gallivant to Portencross as the sun is going down. 21 June 2026."
